Made his debut for Tunisia on November 27, 1991, against Ivory Coast, aged 25. Currently playing for Tunisian side Club Africain, Boumnijel has won 40 caps for Tunisia (as at June 21, 2005).

Height: 1.88m (6ft 2in)
Fact: Before returning to Tunisia in 2005, Bouminijel had spent his entire professional career in France, playing for Gueugnon, Nancy, Bastia, and Rouen.

Adel Nefzi
Currently playing for US Monastir.
Fact: Nefzi received his first call up to the international squad for a friendly match against Serbia and Montenegro in March 2006.

Hamdi Kasraoui

Radhi Jaidi
Made his debut for Tunisia on June 2, 1996, against Rwanda, aged 20. Currently playing for Bolton Wanderers, Jaidi has won 78 caps for Tunisia and has scored 5 goals for his country (as at June 21, 2005).

Fact: When he joined Bolton Wanderers in July 2004, Jaidi became the first ever Tunisian footballer to play in the English Premiership.

Karim Saidi
Made his debut for Tunisia on October 11, 2003, against Morocco, aged 20. Currently playing for Italian side US Lecce (on loan from Feyenoord), Saidi has won 11 caps for Tunisia and has scored 1 goal for his country (as at June 21, 2005).

Fact: Although his contract with Dutch giants Feyenoord does not expire until 2008, Saidi opted to go on loan to Italian side US Lecce in January 2006 in order to play regular first team football and boost his chances of inclusion in the national squad ahead of this summer's World Cup.

Hatem Trabelsi
Made his debut for Tunisia on May 2, 1998, against Georgia, aged 21. Currently playing for Dutch side AFC Ajax, Trabelsi has won 48 caps for Tunisia and has scored 1 goal for his country (as at June 21, 2005).

Fact: One of Tunisia's longest-serving players, Trabelsi represented his country at the 1998 and 2002 World Cups; one of his first games in a Tunisia shirt was the group stage clash against England at France 98, which Tunisia lost 2-0.

Alaeddine Yahia
Made his debut for Tunisia in November 2002, against Egypt, aged 21.He currently plays for French side St Etienne.

Fact: French-born Yahia missed the African Cup of Nations in early 2006, after FIFA ruled that his club did not have to release him, because his country had not given sufficient notice.
