Mark Schwarzer
Made his debut for Australia on July 31, 1993, against Canada, aged 20. Currently playing for Middlesbrough, Schwarzer has won 37 caps for Australia (as at March 1, 2006).
Date of birth: October 6, 1972
Height: 1.94m (6ft 4in)
Fact: One of the highest points of Schwarzer's career to date was when he saved a penalty in the last minute of the final game of the 2004-2005 Premiership season, earning Middlesbrough a place in the UEFA Cup.

Zeljko Kalac
Made his debut for Australia on August 11, 1992, against Malaysia, aged 19. Currently playing for AC Milan, Thwaite has won 50 caps for Australia (as at March 1, 2006).

Height: 2.02m (6ft 7in)
Fact: Kalac spent the 1995-1996 season at Leicester City but only made three appearances for the side; two seasons later he was refused a work permit for Portsmouth FC.

Ante Covic
Made his debut for Australia on February 22, 2006, against Bahrain, aged 30. Currently playing for Swedish side Hammarby, Covic has won 1 cap for Australia (as at March 1, 2006).

Height: 1.93m (6ft 4in)
Fact: Before moving to Sweden in 2002, Covic played in Greece (for PAOK Salonika and AO Kavala) and Croatia (Dinamo Zagreb).

Craig Moore
Made his debut for Australia on June 21, 1995, against Ghana, aged 19. Currently playing for Newcastle United, Moore has won 32 caps for Australia and has scored 2 goals for his country (as at March 1, 2006).

Fact: Moore graduated from the Australian Institute of Sport before moving to Europe and joining Glasgow Rangers in 1993.

Fact: Neill began his English footballing career at Millwall in 1995, and was joined at the club two years later by fellow Socceroo Tim Cahill.
